What's in a Name?
Papier (pronounced "Pap - Ear") is German for "Paper" and represents my maternal family roots. I approach the creation of my invitations in the same manner that a fashion designer designs a couture dress. Fashion designers produce their work in a fashion house; I'm an invitationeer and my custom creations are designed in the House of Papier.
Welcome to my blog,
~Missy
Missy’s invitations were the best invitations I’ve ever seen. I first met Missy and viewed her invitations during a Mary Kay pampering session. As soon as I laid my eyes on her invitations, I knew that I wanted her to create the invitations for my wedding. I received so many invitation catalogs and nothing lived up to the creativity and excellence of Missy’s. So far everyone has received their invitations and they are amazed by the elegance, creative craft and design. Just to quote my Maid of honor’s boyfriend; “Dammmmmm Ms. Thornton, those invitations are serious.” I have told my fiancĂ©, I don’t care what type of affair we have, I ONLY want Missy to create the invitations. I even gave him Missy’s contact information just in case he wants to throw me a surprise party and needs invitations. Missy’s professionalism was excellent. She was in constant contact with my fiancĂ© and I about the status of the invitations. She worked with us, and sent us constant proofs before she began the invitation project. I cannot thank Missy enough. I can’t wait until she creates our wedding programs. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give Missy’s invitations a 10 plus. If you need an invitation for any type of event, contact Missy. NO one does it better!
